Cookie Policy
This policy explains how zemvo.shop uses cookies and similar technologies to operate its WooCommerce store.
Effective August 1, 2026Zemvo currently uses cookies that are necessary to provide shopping-cart, checkout, account, security and website functions. Analytics and advertising cookies are not currently enabled.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device when a website is visited. They can help a website remember a session, maintain shopping-cart contents, support login and provide other functionality.
Some cookies expire when the browser closes. Others remain for a defined period or until they are deleted.
Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, tags or other identifiers. References to cookies in this policy include comparable technologies where applicable.
2. How Zemvo uses cookies
Zemvo uses cookies where reasonably necessary to:
- Maintain shopping-cart contents
- Support checkout and order processing
- Remember customer sessions
- Enable secure account login
- Protect the website and forms from misuse
- Remember certain website preferences
- Diagnose technical problems
Disabling essential cookies may prevent the cart, checkout, account login or other parts of the website from working correctly.
3. WooCommerce essential cookies
WooCommerce uses cookies to maintain cart and customer-session functionality. Depending on how the store is used, the following cookies may be created:
| Cookie | Purpose | Normal duration |
|---|---|---|
woocommerce_cart_hash
|
Helps WooCommerce determine when cart contents or cart data changes. | Browser session |
woocommerce_items_in_cart
|
Helps WooCommerce determine whether the shopping cart contains products. | Browser session |
wp_woocommerce_session_*
|
Contains a unique customer-session code that allows WooCommerce to locate cart data stored in the website database. | Normally two days |
woocommerce_recently_viewed
|
Supports recently viewed product functionality when that feature is active. | Browser session |
store_notice[notice_id]
|
Remembers when a visitor dismisses an active WooCommerce store notice. | Browser session |
WooCommerce states that these cookies do not themselves store personal information. The session identifier may, however, connect the browser session to cart information stored by the website.
4. WordPress and account cookies
WordPress may use essential cookies for customer or administrator login, authentication, security and interface preferences.
Logged-in customers may receive authentication or settings cookies needed to maintain their account session. Website administrators receive additional cookies required to access and operate the protected WordPress dashboard.
These cookies are used for website operation and security, not for customer advertising.
5. Third-party services
PayPal
Zemvo uses PayPal to process payments. PayPal may use cookies or similar technologies when its payment service, website or checkout interface is opened.
PayPal controls its own technologies and information practices. Review the PayPal Privacy Statement for additional information.
Contact Form 7
Zemvo uses Contact Form 7 for customer messages. The form processes information entered by the visitor and sends it to Zemvo’s support email.
Zemvo has not intentionally enabled Contact Form 7 marketing cookies. Security or spam-prevention services may require separate disclosure if they are added later.
Hosting and security
The website host and security systems may use technical identifiers, server logs or essential cookies to deliver the website, prevent abuse and maintain service integrity.
6. Analytics and advertising cookies
Zemvo does not currently state that Google Analytics, Google Ads remarketing, Meta Pixel or other advertising trackers are active.
Before analytics, advertising or remarketing technologies are enabled, Zemvo will update this policy, update the Privacy Policy and implement any appropriate consent or opt-out controls.
Connecting a product feed to Google Merchant Center does not by itself justify describing every Google advertising or analytics cookie as active. This policy should describe only technologies actually loaded by the website.
7. Managing cookies
Visitors can review, block or delete cookies using browser settings. The available controls vary by browser and device.
Blocking essential cookies can result in:
- Products disappearing from the cart
- Checkout not functioning correctly
- Account login failing
- Preferences not being remembered
- Security features not operating as intended
Browser help documentation normally explains how to view, delete and block cookies or restrict third-party cookies.
Clearing cookies may also remove existing cart contents and log the visitor out of an account.
8. Do Not Track signals
Browser Do Not Track signals are not interpreted consistently across the internet. Zemvo does not currently use the website for cross-site behavioral advertising.
If applicable requirements or website practices change, this section will be reviewed and updated.
9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
Zemvo may update this policy when website functionality, plugins, payment services, analytics tools, advertising services or applicable requirements change.
The effective date at the top of the page will be updated when a revised version is published.
